Re-QualificationPolestar Pilates Education continues to improve and develop its curriculum and certification process. Like most high-quality certification programs, re-qualification is an essential part of maintaining skills and quality of care. Polestar’s certifications are valid for five years from the date of certification, after which time re-qualification is required. The following outlines the requirements for re-qualification: Rehab and Studio Practitioners requirements:
Mat and Reformer Practitioners requirements:
All Polestar courses, workshops, conferences and continuing education count towards re-qualification. Of the 80 required continuing education credit hours, at least 70% of the credits must come from Polestar. The remaining 30% of the credits earned from approved providers can count toward re‐qualification (max 24 Credits) and of those 24 Credits a maximum of 8 Credits can come from Approved Non‐Pilates providers. Courses/workshops conducted by approved providers (other than Polestar) will be awarded 50% of each contact hour, e.g. a 16‐hour course earns 8 Credits. Below is a listing of some of the approved providers we accept. Courses provided by practitioners not listed may be eligible with approval. Please contact Polestar Pilates UK for more information. Download and complete the form below, providing as much relevant information as possible, along with copies (not originals) of attendance and other certificates. Send this to us with your payment details and we will submit your application to the Polestar HQ in Miami for them to assess your experience and continuing education to enable them to issue a renewal certificate.
